Awe of danger! Stay humble!

Since it is dangerous, it may produce very bad results!

It's like a man caught in a thorn bush, his hands and feet trapped, and unable to escape for three years! How much worse!

Don’t lose your wisdom and morality!

Stay awed and humble!)
Not out of the woods yet!

It is like a person falling into a ditch, but there is not enough water in the ditch to flow out.

If there is so much water in the ditch that it is close to flat ground, people can climb ashore and escape from the ditch and predicament.

Not out of trouble is like the water in a deep ditch is not full and it is not easy to climb to the ground. Because the opportunity has not come yet, you must accumulate strength and wait for the opportunity!)
Moderation, restraint, simplicity, reflection!

Misfortunes never come singly. When encountering difficulties and dangers one after another, if you can keep your faith, be firm in your heart, stick to justice and the middle way, you will eventually overcome the difficulties and get out of the predicament.)
There are always setbacks and unsatisfactory things!

There are many dangers! It seems that I have fallen into a trap and cannot escape!

Don't take risks! This leads to constant danger, embarrassment, and futile efforts!)
Taking some remedial and self-help measures has yielded some small gains.

Falling into a dangerous situation, I sought help from many sources and tried to solve the problem. Although there was a slight improvement, the difficulty was still not finally solved.

Be in awe! Try to find ways to solve difficulties as soon as possible!)
Encountering setbacks or dangers is certainly not a good thing!

Dangerous things are dangerous things after all.
Not fearing danger and not taking the initiative to avoid danger is dangerous!

He doesn't know how powerful he is, he is arrogant and even takes risks, which is extremely dangerous!)

Hexagram Note:
Expedition, The Abysmal (Water): Represents danger, adversity, and the unknown. It advises navigating challenges with caution, staying adaptable, and finding opportunity amidst difficulties.

Hexagram 29 – Kǎn (The Abysmal / Water)

Water over Water — Kǎn above Kǎn
Kǎn is water; danger doubled.

Judgment

Kan: Repeated danger.
There is sincerity.
The heart thereby attains smooth penetration.
In action, there is honor.

Commentary on the Judgment (Tuàn)

“Repeated danger” means danger doubled.
Water flows without filling up its banks; it moves through danger without losing its trustworthiness.
“The heart thereby attains smooth penetration” — because firmness is in the center.
“In action there is honor” — because going forth brings achievement.
Heaven has its dangers, which cannot be climbed;
Earth has its dangers — mountains, rivers, hills.
Kings and nobles establish defenses to protect their states.
How great indeed are the uses of danger in their proper time!

Commentary on the Image (Xiàng)

“Water comes again and again”—thus Repeated Danger.
The noble one, seeing this,
practices constancy in conduct
and trains in repeated instruction.
